1. Service Description

Vesta Covarianz provides portfolio backtesting, analysis tools, and educational content. The service is available through a freemium model with seven subscription tiers, each offering increasing feature access.

2. Not Financial Advice

Important: Vesta Covarianz is an educational and analytical tool. Nothing on this platform constitutes financial advice. Past performance shown in backtests does not guarantee future results. All investment decisions should be made after independent research and consultation with a qualified financial advisor.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime through Settings.
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase (EU consumer rights).

5. Data Accuracy

Market data is sourced from Yahoo Finance and other public APIs. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all historical data is complete or error-free. Backtesting results are simulations and may differ from actual trading outcomes due to factors like transaction costs, slippage, and liquidity.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, algorithms, and code on Vesta Covarianz are the property of Vesta Covarianz. You retain ownership of your portfolio configurations and saved data, which you can export at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

Vesta Covarianz is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any investment losses based on information or tools provided by the platform. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the subscription in the last 12 months.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [City], Germany.
